JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher in after-school care, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on a pedagogical activity based on governing documents and the needs of the students. You create a safe and stimulating environment where students have the opportunity to develop social, creative, and practical skills. The role includes organizing activities both indoors and outdoors, as well as adapting the activities based on different ages and conditions.

You collaborate closely with colleagues in the work team and participate in joint planning, development work, and meetings. The work also involves building good relationships with students and guardians, as well as contributing to the school's value-based work. Documentation and follow-up of students' development is a natural part of the assignment, as is participating in projects and initiatives that strengthen the quality and equity of after-school care.

To start working in preschool, school, after-school care, and other educational activities, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. The extract is valid for one year and can be ordered from the Swedish Police Authority www.polisen.se.
